Lady in Distress
Stop! There appears to be a "Lady in Distress" on the side of the road. She is not from this time... are we really seeing this regal lady in a long flowing dress as she anxiously waves with her chiffon scarf? Surely she needs transportation; we can not leave her here obviously stranded! What a surprise, we stop, she boards our bus and the fun begins. Who is this distressed, and a trifle addled, woman?
Lost Pirate
Stop! There appears to be a pirate in the road ahead! He is insisting we stop. Who is this ruffian from another time? Could it be one of Sir Frances Drakes' dizzy-eyed varmints left behind when Privateer Drake pulled out of St. Augustine after burning it to the ground in 1585? Could it be a vision, an apparition of an artless, base-court, jolthead, created by residual energy left over from Searles raid in 1683, nearly a century after Drakes' violent raid? Or perhaps he is just a lone warped, weather-beaten pirate who has carelessly lost his ship and crew. He seems so insistent. This errant, boil-brained, lout will not let us pass ... hide your valuables he's coming aboard!
